The undead played a large part in the Northern Skirmishes, laying siege to a number of Desian outposts. It is estimated that the undead at the Battle of the Three Bridges numbered 4,000, with the bulk of its forces being battle wights and horde ghouls. Death Knights seemed to be acting as on-the-job leadership. Undead bearing the markings of bronze chains were among the invaders during the Battle at Castle Desia. According the the leader of that force, the undead are commanded by an “Emperor”.
