Son of Aru, Son of Din, Son of Gar, Son of Throth, Son of For, Champion to all Dragonborn. The origins of Bigg won’t really tell you why he does the things he does. In fact, knowing Bigg personally, as well as one can, won’t really tell you why he does the things he does. It would be easy to look back at Bigg’s life and assume that he was just dumb, or scary, or clumsy. “Big,” as he would later come to be known by his friends and enemies, is none of such things. A tortured soul, unable to ever express himself at the right moment, Bigg was left emotionally secluded, left to battle his demons by himself. Luckily, Bigg is very good at battle. Born to Aru Clan in the border city of Desia, Bigg knew hardship as the status quo. Bigg’s father, Aru, would become the most important figure in his young life, as his mother Garosea died during Bigg’s birth. It would be simplistic to say that Aru blamed Bigg for this, but Bigg was very big, and the pain of giving birth so such a child would have been tremendous, even for a Dragonborn.
As Bigg grew into his childhood he began to speak less and less. His Arkosiatrician would declare him a mute and he would remain that way into his adolescence. Bigg would later come to reveal that at first he stopped speaking simply because he was never asked to and he was trained to never do something a superior didn’t ask him to do. For Bigg, time spent talking was time not training. His giant frame allowed him to wield a hand axe at the age 2. Because Dragonborn mature so quickly he was able to begin training immediately and enrolled in the Dingfrothfor Gym a full year before his peers were even allowed to. In a short while Bigg became a sensation, taking out challengers many times his age, but equal in size. His disciplined walk to the ring, his prompt leaving after victory was secured added to his mystery. His scales, as if made of obsidian, and crackling blue lips added to his menace.
